1. What will the sessions be like?
It will be in a small online group. We meet on Zoom and you choose to put on your cameras or not. I teach you basic pranayama/breath work to calm the mind, then introduce the mantra mediation method to you.
We build up the length that we actually meditate as we go- starting with 5 mins and working up to 20 mins.
2. What are the personal health coaching sessions?
In our one-on-one sessions, we explore the reasons why you want to meditate, work on issues you may have meditating and fit it into your life. So that you learn how to meditate and you actually make it part of your life. These 2 x 30 mins sessions happen at a mutually convenient time. One happens a week after the group sessions finish, and the other 2 weeks after that.
2. Do I need to sit cross-legged?
No, in fact this style of meditation is best done sitting in a comfy chair, with back support.
3. Is it religious?
No, meditation is a secular practice.
