UK market entrance strategy in E-publishing

A report on how to enter the UK e-publishing industry for a small Japan-based E-book producer. This project required interviewing leading players in the UK publishing industry and synthesising their needs and strategies were as well as market trends.

Client: IBM Research Labs and Royal London Society for Blind People (RLSB), UK.

Project management and marketing of voice technology software. 

As a result of earlier Digital Strategy work for RLSB, this project was instigated to provide a technical solution for for blind Internet users. This project between a major charity and IBM required Project Management of a cutting-edge software and wider marketing to raise awareness – including branding it as “Everybody Technology, getting partners on board, engaging Professor Stephen Hawking as ambassador and organising a large conference.

Client: RLSB, UK

Digital Strategy for visually-impaired Internet users

As a result of a rebrand, RLSB needed a new Web presence. This project delivered a detailed report based on stakeholder interviews and resulted in full costings for three options across different levels of technologies and effectiveness. This project also looked at how to community-build for visually-impaired audiences and successful Web strategies and techniques by comparable organisations.


Client: London 2012 Organising Committee of the Olympic Games (LOCOG).

Social Media Strategy- how the Olympics can be more inclusive and reach a younger demographic

This project necessitated a Social Media strategy report for the Directors of LOCOG to understand how the London Olympics could use different types of cultural spaces to engage younger and more diverse audiences in the UK and globally.

Client: The International Confederation of Authors and Composers Societies (CISAC), Paris, France.


A Study on How Viral Messages Spread On the Internet

This project resulted in an in-depth report, workshops and webinars on how the SOPA/ACTA legislation was altered by on-line actions. It involved high quality analysis and research into the spreading and influence of messages around the issue  and compared it with similar campaigns. This organisation and its members are spread globally so we presented our findings at their Annual General Meeting.

Creative Programming and Business Plan Affirmation for a Large Cultural Centre, London

We informed they client’s architectural design brief- by providing the AKDN with a full research and assessment of how the new cultural building could be used – including the type of artistic and educational content that could work for each of planned spaces and suggested new ones.
We informed their business plan by working closely with Colliers International consultants on re-evaluating and informing their figures for the new centre based on our analysis. Our team has a strong background in running and programming art centres in the UK.

Client: LABoral Arts Centre, Asturias, Spain.

Creative Programming for the Opening Exhibition for a Large Arts & Creative Industries Centre, Spain.

This project necessitated me as responsible for the successful delivery of the largest international media art exhibition, Feedback, at strategically important Spanish government organisation. It meant managing newly formed cross-cultural teams across multiple languages and locations in challenging environment, on time and within budget. The project involved: overseeing concept, loans of artworks, artist relations, marketing, production and documentation.
